B.C. Rentals, BC’s longest established and most respected equipment rental, sales and service provider, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our Accounting and Administration team based at our Richmond Head Office location.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience in all aspects of bookkeeping and the ability to work independently while being detail oriented.
Responsibilities will include supporting their colleagues in the following areas:
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Preparation and filing of all government remittances
- Payroll, Pension, WorkSafeBC and all regulatory billings
- Preparation of T4/Record of employment
- General Ledger maintenance and Journal entries
- Weekly, monthly and year end reports and financial documentation/budget preparation
- Customer quotations
- General administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Experience will include:
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in bookkeeping
- Excellent computer skills including Office, Excel &Word
- Experience in QuickBooks
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Fluency in English both written and oral
Excellent remuneration for this position 50K-65K based upon skills and experience together with Medical/Dental Care, Extended Health Care and Life Insurance.
Hours of this position are Monday through Friday 7:00AM till 3:30PM.
Casual dress and on street parking.

Mechanic
Duties will include maintenance and repair of a wide and diverse range of equipment, including aerial work platforms – boom and scissor lifts, forklifts, skid steer loaders, excavators and other industrial and construction related equipment, both on site and in the field.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the equipment rental and sales or related industries, although consideration may be given to mechanics who can demonstrate that their particular skills and experience would closely match those required for this position.
